Anemone

bubble tips aren't hard, none are really insanely hard

Bubble tips are probably one of the more common choices, but remember that most anemones want a stable, mature tank to thrive so when you say "for starters" if your tank has just cycled then you may want to wait in order to increase the chances of success with an anemone. Good luck!

What are some good anemone to get for starters

Are you looking for a host anemone specifically, or any anemone? RFA's are some of the nicest and easiest anemones you can keep, but they don't host anemonefish and they stay relatively small. Maxi Minis are nice too, and very hardy as well.

If you're looking for a host anemone, H Malu is probably my favorite species. While it is not a natural host to most clowns, I've never had a problem having my percs host Malu's. The reasons I like this species of anemone so much is that they are sand dwellers and don't move much, they don't grow as large as other carpets, and IMO they are pretty hardy.

Most people will recommend a BTA as a good beginner anemone. While it's true that they are pretty hardy, they will walk all over your tank until they find a spot they like. If you have corals, that is a nightmare. Some of them also split like crazy, which means you'll have to deal with removing the splits or you'll eventually have a tank full of BTAs. They can also get quite large. I had a rainbow BTA that was over a foot in diameter! It was absolutely beautiful, but one day after two years in the same spot it decided to walk to the other side of the tank and stung half my corals along the way.
