Hey guys, I just picked this BTA for my 20 gallon 3 days ago. Just curious to know if this is normal.

any other reasons on why they contract? Right now it is closed up

Looks fine to me. My nem closes and swells all the time for no apparent reason. She’s a healthy momma though! Nems are weird, as long as it’s not expelling anything, bleaching, or melting youre okay

Hey guys, I just picked this BTA for my 20 gallon 3 days ago. Just curious to know if this is normal.

My flower nem sometimes closes when my feeding time is off by an hour bc it must think it is not getting fed that day.
