Brand new to saltwater. This was in the tank when I got it. I’ve tried to move it, but it always miraculously seems to end up back in this exact same spot. Is it real? If real, is it alive?

yes. anemones will wander around and move to where they want to depending on their light/flow needs.

Yep, looks like a long tentacle anemone that is severely bleached. Leave alone as touching it will only make it worse. Dont feed it either for at least a month. Turn lighting down to acclimation mode if you can. Keep tank conditions stable. And lastly hope for the best
