Often when an anemone bleaches, its due to too much light , elevated phosphate and even lack of food. Excess light often the chief cause. Please provide pics under white light intensity for best identification
Many hobbyist have SPS & BTA mixed with about 1000+ PAR, why the BTA not bleach?

1000 PAR??. Been doing this 43 years and typical high is 450 and range 325. The nems are usually lower in the tank where PAR is lower.
Other causes are elevated phos, starvation and other causes as mentioned. Nems have inner algae known as zooxanthellae and too much light will cause them to expel this algae and bleach out
