Anemones eating clownfish

So I had two baby orange storm clownfish disappear last night and the BTA is the only possible culprit. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Not if they were alive, but dead, sure...

Should be easy to determine the nem will be retracted and the clowns will be in there for a while. More realistically check your over flow.

Not with a bta but with a mini maxi...Any chance it could jump out anywhere? I lost a mocha storm that way not too long ago. Sorry to hear about them, good luck with everything

Thanks guys they just vanished last night and that’s the only possibility they were so small jumping out I don’t believe was an option and if they did I can not find them

Well I found one on the floor as you guys suspected. The other is yet to be found. Keeping my fingers crossed it’s still alive somewhere.

Do you have a cat or dog? I have heard stories of fish jumping that get eaten by other pets. Either way sorry for the loss.

Yeah it was a mated pair and I guess once one jumped the other stressed out and just passed. This week I have lost three fish and a shrimp. I am upset. Think I am just gonna watch the coral grow a while. Thanks guys. The bubble tip wasn’t the culprit so I guess it gets to stay.
