I am really upset I have had these Anemones for 10 years as a matter of fact they are brother and sister they split 5 year ago they are gorgeous huge when they were healthy my water quality is excellent I started having issues 6 to 8 weeks ago and the only thing I am doing different is I stated using Vibrant from Underwater Creations Inc which I stopped using tonight. Can anyone give me any incite or ideas. First two pictures were last week the last two are from tonight. I have an aquarium guy and he is stumped as well and told me to stop using the vibrant tonight and we are going to do a 50% water change tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas Thank you please help

I am not an expert all your normal tests salt level, KH, Calcium, Phosphate, Nitrate and Nitrite I have all the tests everything is good tell me what you want me to test and Ill do it right now

Looks likes nems that the clowns are beating to death. Lights also seem a tad bright. They fare best under moderate light and water flow.
Salinity 1.025
ttemp 77-79
Ph 8.1-8.3
nitrate < .05
ammonia < .03

What test kits are you using ?
Rock looks clean - age of tank ?

My Nemos have lived with them for 10 years as well. Salinity is right on Temp good Ill test for the others my aquarium guy is baffled as well. I have various test kits the tank is almost 1 year it was a transfer from my old 9 year old tank.... Like I said my 2 babies are each the size of a small kids soccer ball when they we happy and health I just dont get it

The only thing different I did I started using Vibrate as directed

seems like your on the right track. Workcompman added vibrant and bad things happened. Seems like stopping will help. Water changes, protein skimmer, and activated carbon to get everything out. Wish you luck

dropping the light down a week wouldnt hurt if you see any bleaching occurring

As a matter of fact if you look at my profile picture the anemones are doing great that picture was a few months back

Vibrant is the cause I noticed my nems didn't like it when I used it. I was doing half the recommended dose. I would stop the vibrant do a water change
I am really ticked man these are my babies I hope its not to late my nems were the size of small kids soccer balls and know they look like death... Thanks

Sorry to hear and good luck with the anemones! Vibrance def seems to be quite potent stuff at least others can learn and hopefully they will pull thru

Keep us posted all mine made it without to much trouble but like I said I did half dosage

Nitrate between .03 .04 Nitrite was 0 in the blue using API my phosphate .5 dont ahve an ammonia test
Just an FYI- API test kits are notorious fir false test readings and have let down many reefers hence the low cost for a master kit
I’d suggest taking a good size water sample to a trusted LFS that does not use api kits and have them verify your readings
