Well here,s the deal with once back home. I found the small Haitian anemone deflated and upside down and away from the large Haitian anemone. The large one is missing a few of its purple tips but otherwise seems okay. I relocated the small one and noticed its still alive but was opening and closing its mouth. I target fed it soom zoo plankton. The long tenticle anemone also seemed okay so I fed it a piece of krill. Today it is small and deflated. I built protection caves for the small hiatian and long tenticle anemones and surrounded the large hiatian with large rock pieces to temporarily protect it from the five inch maroon gold stripe clown fish now named red devil shark.
I now know what red devil shark is doing. Any deflated anemone he sees he tries to feed to the non deflated which causes grave damage to all stung. Now that I have caught on to his stunts I'm going to cover the anemones with see through hard plastic containers which I will drill a ton of holes through and then surround and cover them with rock work. No fishes or hermit crabs will be able to bother them. When I have a cycled second tank ready and all anemones are determined healthy enough for removal they will have thier very own tank. I will perhaps one day put them back in the main display if they grow large enough to not be able to be stressed to death by relentless over zealous clown fish. Has anyone else had a fish stress their anemones to ear death or killed them?
