Nems generally require pretty strong light mmax.

There are major fans and enthusiastic users of most every brand on here.

People will have an easier time giving you solid advise with a little more background info.

What fixture are you currently using?
How many of them do you run and over what size/dimension of a tank?
Your rock and sand looks good to me. Are you battling algae, or just trying to not promote it?
Also, how old is your tank?

For sure, you would be better off with a little algae than three nems dying of light starvation.. dying nems can be NASTY

This is the Long Arm of the Tank. She found her own spot after moving herself around a bit. The thing with nems is where they are in terms of the reef. Lots of flow or "stagnant flow" type where they actually dont want "Clean water". Much different than the bubble nem in the tank which loves light and flow more so

Thank you,
I have a 75 gallon tank with a fluval aquasky 1200. I have had the white nem and yellow nem for a couple of weeks. The haitian only a week. He still likes to hide under my rocks. I had a severe brown algae outbreak and have since cut back my tank lighting intensity and only 8 hrs. I feed my nems every couple of days small pices of scallop. I just love to watch them.

Here is the bubble in the next "hole" over from the long tentacle and it's much more forward towards the light.

Hi specwar, your nem has great color. My haitian appears to like the stagnant flow while the other two like a lot mote movement and light.

Dont be surprised if you find that it jammed itself between some rocks etc. I found this going on and it scared me at first but I learned from reefers and LFS that it's just being fickle and trying to find it's spot. Making a "pit or hole" out of rock is good and some like the glass to attach to as well. if needed us a shot glass/bowl and place the nem in there and it may attach - this is just an option if you are avoiding conflict, unsure about rocks etc.
