i bought a anenome. His foot looked awesome when I got him. He was really blown up huge with beautiful colors!! Now I noticed his foot looks like it is getting eaten but not seeing anyone picking at it. I need to find the culprit before it’s to late if it’s not already. I have a blue electric hermit crab, emerald crabs(one getting pretty big) blue leg crabs, Pom Pom crabs, rectangular trigger, vlamingi tang, mimic tang, cleaner wrasse, mandarin goby, target goby, dragon goby, 2 nemos, cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp and usual snails. Who could it be?

My guess will be the electric blue hermit crab. Thinking of removing him for now to see what happens

I doubt its any of your stock list...most likely had a small.injury thats now infected. Sometimes they can recover sometimes not. Cipro might help...

Thanks. I checked his foot before and after purchase. It looked perfect. He won’t plant himself at all. He attaches himself to the rocks with his side or tentacles. I have seen the mimic tang poking at his foot today. Hopefully he recovers.

Turn off the pumps and leave it alone.
Don’t touch or move it.
Leave it alone and it will find it’s place in your tank
