as title says ...sorry I know it has probably been beaten to death but still fairly new to salt water...

been in tank about 5 weeks it was fairly large this morning when I left for work.. size of small plate-ish? been like that much since I put him in from local store... came already attached to rock its on so places as is in tank... but still looks to be in process of splitting... I gonna slap the wife as she was watching the smaller tank beside(axolotls) and never notices.. ARGH HOW!!!!!!!

got home from work.. this is what I seen.. is it good or bad? cause I know they can split of problems or very happy... sorry only been in the saltwater scene for about 8 months .. and its hasent hosted clowns I have yet (mature few years old pair)

Looks okay to me. Anyone else see an issue? How old is your setup? Best of luck. Just leave em be but watch out. When small like that, they can easily get caught in a current or just by it walking around the tank, get caught in overflows and powerheads/wave makers.
Also larger, older clowns, may be too aggressive with little anemones. They essentially rub them to stress/ death. Put in a collander or something to seperate that will allow some flow. Put those two small rocks they are currently on in there.
Hope this helps.

6 months since setup (after cycle ended) anem was added roughly a month ago the clowns don't even look at the nem yet so il watch and see the outcome it ate like a pig yesterday tho I must say regardless this is a 60 gallon 24 inch deep tank

temp 78~ ph 8.3 ammonia and nitrates 0 nitrates between 0-5 (limitation of test) kh 170 calcium 400 phos.. 0.2 ,, using ro/di top up abut 2 gallons a week of water(no top on tank) 10% change every 2-3 weeks

got a lower powered powerhead above it 8 inches or so above and a higher powered for surface agitation about 18 or so inches above.. and such.. also getting coralline growing on everything not a lot but starting .. so something gotta be right .. haahahah

only thing I'm worried as I look now is the one in the middle of the picture is kinda deflated.. but still looks good for color..

Itll take a while for them to heal. They appear okay. What is you Kh? (Alk.) Not familiar with 171. What is that in dkh? I keep my nem tank around 8.0-8.3
Good luck

dkh roughly 9.5 ..... converted from ppm I know *acceptable is roughly 8-11 .. I aimed for the middle .. should I lower it slowly or leave as is.. my green star and my frogspawns are opening up and growing pretty well

Welcome to the club. I believe I am at 9 now. Maybe 10. I can't tell with one of them if he is spread out enough under and over a rock or if it is two :( Anyway - no idea why these things do it. Feeding, flow, happy, sad, lonely, didn't hear my daily morning dose of CCR and decided to split to show their frustration. Over the past 6 years one turned out to be my current 9 or 10...go figure.

Like noted above, they look ok. First day or so after it is a bit stressed and wonky looking but soon to recover.

just read the stories of these things taking out tanks getting chopped up etc.. I panicked good to see I over reacted , but as we know its not a cheap hobby , I know my tank don't look as nice as some of these above but we all start somewere

nice to see also I got responses fairly quick really nice and appreciated..
