Anenome stretching

New to anenomes so apologies is this is obvious but my new is stretching from its base, would this signal light hungry?

Completely normal. They like to attach their foot under something and reach up in the figure of a "J" mine does it and it directly under a kessil at 85%

I thought the same thing but apparently it's normal. It's getting blasted with 350-400 par right under my AI prime

You would be surprised just how far they can stretch. This allows them to protect their foot while still reaching for light, even if it's far away.
