Pest anemone known as aptasia. There may be more you havent seen yet
Removal is simple:
Using syringe, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away

Sorry.
Perhaps you should get a new fish or something to eat it?

ugh. I only saw it using the iPhone picture blown up. I'll have to comb the aquarium more. I went back to using Imagitarium Pacific Ocean water because Whole Foods stopped selling RO water. Was nice at $0.50 a gallon. Haven't found anyone else that sells it so until I get a in house RO, have to go that route.

Only hose bib that I can use in the house for RO unit is in the basement before the hotter heater.

Yeah, combing the tank there are 3 total. One top left and the other in the crevice behind the main one. Will attempt to remove with a syringe.

A squirt is all that is needed in center core but as stated, paste much more effective. Hot boiling water via syringe has worked also for a few persons

This adapter should work for your unit (home depot, lowes)

Has inner and outer threads

I don't have faucets like that unfortunately. Kitchen is pulldown spray type and bathrooms I can't catch the threads. I bought a couple different adaptors and none work. Kohler faucets too. One day I was going to have a plumber spice into my PEX and install an access.

hoping I can suck the guys right into a large syringe first. As soon as the misses can join me with a live camera blow up so I can see what I'm doing while in the tank I'll give it a go.

They are adhered to rock and will not get sucked off however you can scrape their base and then do the suction thing
