Hello I have a blackface Angelfish and I get Yesterday a one eye yellow butterfly fish . Both are in my Quarantine tank , and my Angelfish start immidialy to picking on him. So I separated both, by using glass wall. This evening I open it and the angel start again to picking on him.
Question can both not go together in the same Tank?

Genicanthis aren’t generally too aggressive but as two lone fish in a QT he/she might not appreciate a similarly shaped fish competing for food.

If the end tank has several other similarly shaped fish, it may work out fine. Good idea with the divider.

Also we need some photos! :)
