Hi everyone,

My grey angelfish developed an eye problem in one eye and now its in the other. I treated with praziquantel and erythromycin but it has gotten progressively worse. Ive also performed fresh water dips. The initial eye is all mush and peeling and red on the inside (to be honest i think its beyond repair but im hoping its not) And the other eye is now following the same path. I’ve never had this problem before. My ammonia nitrite are basically 0. Ph is 8.2. Nitrate is 15 mg/l. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

How long have you had this fish? Has he been through Qt?

Seachem kannaplex is the best option for issues like this.

Thank you for the response.
I’ve had him about 6 months. Yes he went through qt.
I just noticed that in the worse eye he has 2 air bubbles and a beige looking thing.
I have triple sulfa, general cure, and erythromycin. Ill try to get kanaplex.
