I just got like 50 cerith snails & a few nerites & my half black angel keeps picking at the ceriths so I buried them in the sand but he’s picking at that too. Anything I should do or should I let it be? It tosses them at the glass sometimes.

Give it some nori seaweed or similar to nibble onI just got like 50 cerith snails & a few nerites & my half black angel keeps picking at the ceriths so I buried them in the sand but he’s picking at that too. Anything I should do or should I let it be? It tosses them at the glass sometimes.
I have 2 gold nuggets & a damsel, wave maker & powerhead. I even added the nori, he picks at & plays with it all. VERY playful then. Anything else I could add or avoid? Cause now I’m scared it’ll kill a shrimp. It also sounds like its bored. Angelfish are particularly intelligent and enjoy some sort of stimulation. Is it in the tank alone? Do you have powerheads that it can play with? Yes, angelfish like to play with powerheads and in flow.
Some just picking, some thrown at the glass. I’m just hoping he’ll let them be so they come out of their shells & do what I bought them for. I’ll get some macro, thank you.I've never known angelfish to kill shrimp. Is it picking at the snails, or just throwing them around? Angelfish get blamed for all sorts of bad behaviour, but they're usually just curious or, yes, just playing around.
If you don't have any, I'd recommend adding some halymenia macro. It tends to become heavily populated with copepods and gives angels something else to pick at throughout the day.
