Anglefish aggression

Beautiful Koran.

Has anyone seen severe aggression (intent to kill) subside after separation, adding other angels and/or reaquascaping?

So I was given advise from my lfs add in a small angelfish that would grow large and disperse the aggression from 1 fish to 2. So I got a 2” Koran to go with my 7” emperor and 11” annularus and not sure what happened but the angelfish aggression went away. Just my regal tang keeps picking on the emperor. The Koran does not get picked on at all and is my most active fish and never wants to hide. Below is a picture of more social of my fish.

Was that the secret to disperse the aggression like you do with tangs and anthias?

I have had Pomacanthus sp. not pay much attention to another, and have had them just absolutely shred another non-stop, to where they had to be removed. This was both in tanks of a couple hundred, to 10,000+ gallons. Usually they will co-exist with occasional posturing or grunting/nipping. I have found it really depends on the individual fish, and the size being added.
