Angler in a reef tank....

Does anyone have any experience with a 1 to 2 inch angler in a reef tank with other reef non predatory fish? Thanks

He will try and eat anything 2x his size and probably succeed. They do best in a species only tank with coral that is incapable of stinging. Keeping them with angels and tangs is also a bad idea even though these fish may be too large to attempt to eat. Tangs and Angels tend to pick at the rocks and often mistake the anglers for rocks.

Yea in a community tank they will be too aggressive
