I was actually making my components. Currently dosing 120 ml selfmade components each. Generally I like to keep it close to 7.5dkh. Oh and the system is 60G total water volume.

Yes, I used to use premade jugs but soon my acros started drinking up elements much faster so I follow similar path like my friend @jsker . I am mixing my own components using components strong and other dry powders.

Hey man nice to see you here.
So, this guy is from Michael from NY aquatics. First 2 days he was not interested in any kind of frozen. I then add some masstick with frozen mysis and my home made blended food made a paste and put it in a clam shell. Then I dropped it close to his place in the tank. He ignored it first and then started picking it. Next 2 days I did the same thing but keep a close eye on him. 3rd day when I was feeding the tank normally during evening I suddenly saw him eating food from water column possibly mysis which was in the food blend. Since, I just feed him with the other tank mates but I add some extra mysis in the food blend. Also, he likes to eat small chopped mysis. I just started to feed them live blackworm too and he likes it too. He just suck them like noodles.

I thought I was following your thread. I seen it pop up on the front page so I figured I’d follow again since I wasn’t. I guess I need to get some masstick and give it a try. I see mine picking at the rocks a little, so I’m hopeful it’s eating something. I think if I put masstick or any food all my other fish are going to devour it and scare the butterfly fish away.

Picking almost everything is a habit of them. I think its best to feed them once you feed your whole tank and then when lights are low you just drop it where he picks most. I will add only chopped mysis with masstick to start with. Where did you get yours? Was it eating before shipping?

I don’t know if it was eating before I got it as I bought it from liveaquaria. I’m about to head to the lfs and grab mysis and masstick and give it a go. Thanks for the tips!

Live aquaria stuffs are tricky. If possible get a half clam shell and put the food in that and drop in the tank.

This Anacropora grows funny. I really like its confuse growth pattern. That lower part of that rock going to be a war zone soon. Five competitors growing together, anacropora, miyagi tort, bubblegum digi, rainbow stylos and milka stylo. Will be an interesting thing to watch.I have the slimer they look the samethe thing grows like crazy
