I use both...lol. Earlier I used to do only reef salt but then as my tank demand increases and nutrient level decreases I use 1:1 ratio of both. The amino and vitamin helps with my nutrient level.

Thanks Freddie. I took these pictures after a long time. Life was crazy since last few months as my mother in law went through an urgent surgery for her cancer. But she us doing good now. We are building our new house and I planned my upgrade for the new tank but need to refocus on that soon. How is your wife doing?Anirban,

Thanks man...its a oddball. It grows slow but the colors are hard to catch. I dont see it much anywhere.

Thanks, colors were never a problem for me as I always used aquaforest for the system . I think the balanced system helps a lot with the colors. I have quite high lights too but I think you need a bit of nutrients with it to get better color.
My new build will start possibly soon and I will put a link here so that everyone can follow.

Time for monthly photo dump. The tank is doing well and things are steady as rock thanks to Aquaforest dosing schedule. Its been a long journey and I am quite happy how it turned up. On another note the new house is getting ready so need to start the new build thread and plans soon.

I recently tested my PAR reading and got a good answer why I never have any issues with colouring up corals. My whole upper part of tank 6 inches under water is getting 500 PAR. and here are the results...
