Looks a type of eunice, but I couldn't tell you if it's the predatory kind. I wouldn't recommend putting it back.

Removed 3 last night... and there are definitely more. Theyve been in my system since day one. Havent lost any coral or fish... yet...

Is it possible to nab more pictures?
Most definitely! They show up nightly when i feed my corals. Caught 3 last night and saw another 4 or 5 before lights out. But was too lazy to catch them. Im working for another hour or so. Will post pics when i get home. Will get as magnified and clear as possible. The 3 i caught last night were still alive this morning as well.

Most excellent!!!! I'm curious about a couple things I'm seeing and I'm having trouble manipulating the photo in photoshop because of all the blue.

It's actually not a Dorvilleidae as it has a median head tentacle.

Just about to finish work. Will get pics with natural light when i get home. I thought you might find them interesting [emoji14] They have funky fluorescent tails as well. With a 2 lobed shrimp like tail. Seem to use rear end to anchor. While mouth tastes around. They dont seem to have a taste for fish food. So they must be feeding off my starry night chalices mucus while its feeding(i only find them on this one coral and its by no means segregated from my other chalices nor is it a new addition 5+years in my care)

I was trying to get a look at their bootie, but I couldn't see it. I'm leaning towards syllid. Very cool.

Someone let Brett go home early please!!!!!

Is it green, BTW? That's the only color I could get to come forward.

Tan and brown alternating. The blues screw with the whites so no matter how much i screw with the raw image i cant get the actual colors will take pic in an hour or so with it over white as well as black background. Can probly even wedge one on a slide to get a better pic than thru water. From past experience they can also be cut into pieces and each independent piece will stay alive. But only for a couple of hours then anything without a head is dead.
