Anomene troubles...

Hey guys, my green bubble tip anomene has recently not been coming out. He stays under a rock for the most part and does not bloom. As soon as I move him to somewhere with light, he comes out but when i wake up hes back under the rock. Whats your advice so he can stay in a spot

Also he is about 3 weeks in the tank, so he is fairly new

Check parameters to see if anything is off.

In addition, I would advise against moving it. This will only stress it out. If lighting is good, it will move to an optimal location on it's own.

If any parameter adjustments are warranted, then make subtle adjustments to minimize stress. Slow and steady is best.

Anemones are exactly like having a young teenage daughter..... to keep them happy, just keep them fed and don't disturb them.

meaning, stay pretty much out of their life.

They'll come around....
