I had a crash last year that resulted in mass confusion in my tank and now I have a couple of Acro colonies that I can't ID.

This first one was originally sold to me as RR the Vinh. However, the polyps appear to be red instead of blue. Any ideas? (photos 1, 2, 3)

The second one is a resilient stag that's been with me for a long while. (photos 3, 4, 5)

I've tried to adjust WB as best as possible. Any insight would really be appreciated!

Thanks!

BTW, my tank crash was caused by a UV sterilizer called the Green Killing Machine. It leaked high levels of Antimony (Sb) into my tank poisoning all my SPS. Avoid it like the plague!

Wow. I’ve got a acro frag tank so nothing like that yet. Beautiful! Anyway, phyto... I home brew Mercer of Montana’s product. They sell both nanno and tetra phyto. I buy the split packs with (2) 8oz bottles of each. I use the standard Guilliard’s F2 fertilizer (sometimes). I’m including a pic of my cultures. I started them like... late last night so they are diluted by 50% still (and still many times more dense than even the closest runner up brand of phyto. Also, you can buy whole culturing kits, just phyto, or just fertilizer. Also, you can get dry Petri dish cultures, small bottles, big bottles. Cheap and ships fairly fast. No, I don’t work for them I just live the product.

Ugh... I’m sorry... meant to reply elsewhere with that post (your acros literally blew my mind!)
