Another "Aiptasia?" thread

Found this on one of my zoa frags (I did dip in CoralRX using the typical bottle instructions), hoping to get ahead of it early if it is:

Will work on getting white light pic in the meantime if it will help.

This. Scrape OUTSIDE of the display and or sump.

I learned the hard way, aiptasia fixes in a bottle suck, all of them.

Sigh, I tried to get it but has retracted a bit. I took the tip of an xacto and swirled in the hole. Got some material out so hopefully that'll be it

I epoxy paste or gel glue on top.... (cover) and watch if they find a way out.

Get a peppermint shrimp, i bought a rock with zoas on it and it had 1 aptasia on it, pretty fast my peppermint shrimp went there and gobbled up the aptasia in an instant.

Any conflicts with having a cleaner + peppermint in a 20G with a pair of clowns?

Not sure if this is in a spot to fully scrape off but you can use a syringe or pipette, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away

I do think I got most of it with the xacto knife (outside of the tank), have checked on it periodically and nothing has reappeared so fingers crossed.

Peppermints and cleaners are fine I think mostly because they operate on different schedules. Just note that peps can be a pain when they run out of natural food.
