I'm thinking dino's... I'm not that experianced in algae problems yet. Here are the tank specs and possible reasons for bloom.

Nitrates=undetectible
Phosphates=.25 before waterchanges, undetectable now. (normaly undetectable)
Ca=445
Alk=9.0
Mg=1330
red sea coral pro salt
brs reactors running 1 cup carbon and 1 cup gfo
90g rr with 30g custom acrylic sump
0tds rodi
system is 1.5 years old
LOW NUTRIENT SPS DOMINATED

I disturbed my sandbed removing some rock for visual reasons a few weeks before this started showing up. I noticed the phosphates and up'd the gfo, and have been doing 10% water changes twice a week. Usually 10% a week is my routine. It seems to have haulted but holds strong.

I've not seen many cases of it but, did you try to wipe it off with your finger? Green Cyano Algae is my guess.
