Of course not. I would dump in a bunch of chemicals and stand back so you can throw a bunch of money in there. Then hit it with a blow torch while adding snails, urchins, slugs and my personal favorite, Manatees. It's one inch of manatee for 20 gallons of water

Any algae the manatees don't actually eat can easily be scraped off their backs later.
