I am thinking about adding 1 or 2 more Bartlett's Anthias to my 60. I have what I believe is a male who has been there for several months. I know that in the absence of a dominate male, a female Bratlett's will become male. Diver's Den cannot promise gender on these fish, so what happens if I add two more males to an existing third? Bartlett's are quite peaceful, but I wonder if three males (worst case) will cause over-agression?

I had one bully others to death!

I also have one that has bullied other anthias into hiding for life.

I will never own bartletts again. They are very aggressive, and don't shoal in any way.

I really don't care for them either after owning them.

Wow! My one is a perfect citizen, so I figured 3 would be better. Oh well, it is back to firefish then.

Thanks.

I bought 3. 2 of them males. They fought each other just like a fresh water beta fish. At the end both died. They are aggressive.

My two get along fine and the 2nd is turning into a sub-male, but they are in a 180g which is a bit different then a 60g in terms of how fish will get along. They are an active fish and I wouldn't put more then 1 in a 60g anyways.
