Another Boring Choose my Powerhead post lol

Good afternoon everyone! I’ll start by saying I reefed for about 10yrs and I’m back after a 3 year hiatus. My setup is a Redsea Max Nano. Plan for zoas only and maybe LPS such as Frogspawn/Plate. I don’t want any SPS

I’ve narrowed it down to the Reefwave 25 or Tunze 6040. Of those two I’m leaning towards the Reefwave due the compatible ease with the reef beat app with my stock Red Sea LED light (One stop shop). I used to use MP10s and Aqaumai but I want to try something different.

Please help me decide which one to go with.

I will probably always vote for Tunze powerheads. They're going to be your reliable leader in this hobby. The flow pattern I like from the tunze than gyres as well. I use a combination of tunze and maxspect gyre, fwiw.

I’m not familiar with the Reef Waves but Tunze are solid dependable pumps.
