Another cleaning acrylic thread. Who has used this?

I bought one (magnet sleeve) but I'm scared to use it on a magnet as intended. It seems very abrasive to me. I used it very lightly by hand and it seemed to work well but I did buy it so I could use the magnet.

I've seen night mare with that and even u r super careful u could have a guest over and try to just move it or something takes one move for it b a huge scratch

So I'm sure this has been asked a million times but what are guys using for cleaning their acrylic tanks? I've heard of the mr. clean sponges but I don't like the idea of those.

I use a mag float made for acrylic tanks, it works well and I just move to back when not using to keep hands off. To get near sand I use a plastic scrapper, just gotta be careful.

Give it a try. The product said it was developed by a guy that has done maintenance on hundreds of acrylic tanks.

One tip with magnets is clean off magnet and check for particles of sand or anything that may scratch the acrylic prior to use.

It's a good idea to remove magnet from tank after use to prevent sand getting trapped in there
