Currently have a pair of Clownfish in the tank, I think it's safe to assume they're a pair as they stay very close to each other, no eggs yet though.

Recently recieved another Clownfish from a friend, however when I tried to introduce it, there was too much chasing going on by my Clown. So currently the new fish is in a different tank.

The new Clown is honestly much nicer, has brighter colors. Would it be wrong to replace my female with the new one, would the male end up switching partners and would the original female be fine or do they like to stick with their partners?

Thanks

As they say "divorce is an ugly thing". IMO, I find a new home for the newest clown and let the two originals be. You know they are compatible - the new one is unknown. "Three's a crowd"
