I have a standard 10 gallon reef tank with a pair of clowns plus a handfull of snails and hermits and was wondering is there any other fish I could fit in their like a small goby or blenny? If not what other cool creatures would you recommend?

I hate to be “that guy” but i have to advise you against any more fish in a 10 gallon. Even 2 clowns in a lot for 10 gallons. When i first started this hobby i bought a 15 gallon tank/livestock from someone on craigslist. It had 2 clowns and a cardinal. the cardinal was getting bullied so hard by the clowns i had to take it to the LFS. clowns can be very territorial especially in confined space. they even used to bite my hand when i put it in the tank.

im not trying to be mean or be a buzzkill, just trying to save you time, money, and the stress or death of a new fish. if you want more fish, i suggest a bigger tank. you could add a shrimp of some sort in the 10 gallon. i had a cleaner shrimp and he was awesome for the 15 gallon.

I will second this
I overlooked the clowns
I have a 30g and only 3 fish and i probs wont do more
Sorry

You could get a small yellow watchman goby, the clowns won’t really care for him and I have had one in a 10g in the past and he was totally happy. Now he’s a big boy in a 32g and really social. I can even hold him.

slight warning: They tend to get bacterial infections easily when they start burrowing because they end up with scratches. has happened to me 3 times now..

I'd consider a tuxedo urchin. They're often more fun to watch than the fish -- especially in a small tank -- because you can watch its "feet" search around the tank, looking for food and camouflage. And then see it poop out of the top of its "head"! I've heard that some will pick up the odd frag, but all of mine have left them alone and just cover themselves with nuisance alage.

Hard to keep food ready for an urchin in a 10g
I have a 30g and i feed him nori when hes willing to eat it but he devours all my rocks
I think 20g 30g is the limit for an urchin unless you get alage like crazy
But once you stable more itll be hard to find food in 10g

Fish that depend on alage can be a huge hit or miss depending on the tank

I have a tuxedo urchin in my 4g jar build. Of course, it's only in there during quarantine, but it's been fine so far. I'll supplement with nori if it seems to be running out of food (but there's still plenty of algae in there).

Haha! well my tank definately has no shortage of algae.
