Hey gang,
I've read through all the material, i think I have ostreopsis. The microscope I bought is the most annoying piece of junk I have ever had to deal with. However I was able to grab a few snaps for conformation. However, these guys seem to be living in my substrate. I dont see anything growing on the rocks, but it's definitely covering my macro algae. The sand bed is starting to look like a hair algae haven.
Parameters for reference:
Current Nitrate 15ppm
Current Phosphate .12
Alk 10
PH 8.2
Salinity 35
Calc 420.
Those are my most recent readings. The nitrate and phosphate are elevated over what i've normally been testing which is 5ppm Nitrate .08 phosphate. Those readings have been stable for months, but this outbreak has slowly grown with time.
Live stock is doing fine, but I feel like if I don't do something then this could end badly.
Dosing microbacter 7 to try and get more diversity in the tank.
