Hi Randy ...

Here is a question maybe asked before - but I am at odds.
So, many years keeping corals etc...
Started new 40 Gallon tank... roughly 30 Gal of water plus Rock and sand.
I bought a doser for my 2 part Little Fishes A+B
I am dosing 20 ml of each.
I am also adding - one cap full of Mag 3 times a week
I change 6 Gallons weekly.
Running skimmer and Bio Pellet reactor.
Very low fish stock 3 fish, 25 sps frags, 3 zoa colonies, 16 zoa frags, dendro, 6 rics.

My Apex reports the following and changes very little...
Orp 300 to 320
PH 7.80 - 7.90 - I know not to chase PH (would like to see it in the s - why i am adding Mag)
Sal 33.5 creeps up to 35 because of dosing - RO water used to top off and lower Sal

I am going to test tonight as I have all the API test kits to see where I am.
Any ideas why the low PH and ORP still ?

Low ph is usually because of Co2 we breathe out trapped in the house. Opening a window solves it or runing a skimmer airline outside.

Orp is not worth monitoring because it means too many things. The ocean somtimes has low orp even in pristine water conditions.

All readings...
