Normally I don't have issues coming up with fish to add.....but it has been over a year since I have added anything. I am concerned about adding something that isn't going to get along with the rest of the fish. I currently have a pair of Bird Wrasses, a small lightning Maroon, Pajama Cardinal, and Kole Tang. I would like to add another wrasse or two......any suggestions? (I need to get some more nutrients into my tank). Do you anticipate the Bird Wrasses (or Maroon for that matter) becoming a problem with new additions? I would use an acclimation box. I am just not sure what to expect with any fish being added to an established 105G tank.

What else do you have in the tank? I saw a fantastic Navarrancus angel at the pet shop but decided it would not work with my clam, and photosynthetic sponge, and some other stuff in the tank.

Get something! :)

The tank is mainly SPS with a few zoas. The problem I think will be the fish. In the past, the Kole tang prevented any algae eating fish from being added. I am concerned about the bird wrasses with other wrasses. The Maroon Clown is probably a question mark also lol. I would like a couple of reef safe wrasses.

Melanarus wrasse are nice. An angelfish would be a nice addition as well. Maroon might have attitude with anything, as I find they have attitude no matter what. But you dont know, if you dont try.

I want a rainbow wrasse. Cheap and readily available
Are you talking about Thalassoma lucasanum? If so it is a good looking fish....I like a lot of the Thalassoma wrasses but I am trying to move more towards reef safe stuff. My tank has been a semi-predator reef tank from the beginning. I would like to be able to actually add a CUC lol.

I have tried MANY angels in the past...the Kole Tang will not allow it lol. He harasses any algae eating fish including Angels, Blennys, etc. I have a strange mixture of fish that really make adding anything difficult lol.
