Another ID needed....

First off a couple of eggs appears on the substrate, pulled them, close up of one:

And noticed this guy wandering on my rocks, particularly around my barnicles....

very white body.

Possibly a whelk - which is likely to be predatory. Would be good for ID if you can get photos from other angles as well, especially from underneath.

Yep ... that looks like a whelk. Beautiful animal, but perhaps better suited to the sump or refugium than the display.
