Would you be able to help me this one? The blue with green spots in the center of the photo is a mystery to me. After looking at photos online, it could be a hollywood green stunner chalice but I am not convinced since chalice don't generally grow fast. However, this one went from 1" diameter to 4" in a year. It is very thin and brittle like a montipora and grows as fast. I have clipped a small piece and placed it in another part of my tank. Not only the small piece is also growing very fast, but after 3 weeks, the main piece has grown back to a point that I can't tell that a piece was removed.

Looks like Hollywood Stunner to me. I have a piece that looks exactly like yours. It's obviously very happy considering the growth. Mine has grown well too but not quite the rate you're getting.

Thank you for your response. If it is a chalice like yours, I would like to share with you that it barely grew for the first few months due to insufficient lighting. I have generic full spectrum LED boxes. The moment that I placed it towards the very top where the different Montipora are, it started growing at a very fast rate. You might want to do the same.

yeah it's Hollywood stunner. Generally it is really fast growing. There are many genus of coral that people call chalices. Some grow super slow and others, like yours, grow fast.

Thanks, I'm happy with the slower growth. I don't like putting stuff like that high because it shades everything below.

I'm wrong, it's Echinopora lamellosa.
Beat me to it. Most definitely Hollywood stunner morph of lamellosa.

Once it settles in, it can be a very fast grower. Sometimes takes a bit to get really happy though.

I also would agree that it looks like a Hollywood stunner chalice. The one I had grew so fast and so big I kept having to break off the new growth to keep it from shading everything below it.
