Are these acropora eating flatworms ? I don't know what I'm looking at

Not really ? Wouldn't the dip kill them ?

Usually they squirm around a little in the dip before dying. Could just be flesh that came off the coral. Looks like it is suffering from rapid tissue necrosis, not looking like bite marks.

Impossible to tell from pic but I’m thinking no. It appears to be detritus/skin that is sloughing off from the acro. Also don’t see any oval shaped bite marks on the acro.
