That's new dry rock, so it was spotless a week ago. The brown spots are throughout the tank. Probably cyno? I added a bottle of bio-spira, not to cycle the tank instantly as they ,I'm sure falsely, claim but just to introduce the cycling bacteria. That was Wednesday. Holding a steady 82° (also for bacteria sake).

Parameters:
NH3: 0
NO2: 0
NO3: 0
ALK: 7.5 dKH
PH: 7.5
Salinity: 34PPT (1.0256 SP)
It isn't false. Tank is cycled within days as long as you add an ammonia source.

Very nice stand. The holes are to equalize the water level between the front and back so the pumps don’t run dry and to help the filtration system.

I have a older JBJ 45 I agree my Radion is just slightly off but I don’t mind it.
Have you looked at the intank baskets
I also have a full APEX system on mine. I also went and added a overflow to mine and put a sump inside my stand
See my signature line for videos on what I did although I do need to update them.
I do have two mp10’s on my tank. My tank has been running now for four years come March.
Here is a shot with a yellow filter

Feel free to ask any questions, I’m probably one of the oldest persons on here with this tank ( meaning having this tank)
