So, I have what amounts to a 125 gal tall (60x19x24). I mostly keep softies/LPS (but the tank is more fish focused.) I've been using Koralias for awhile now, but have never found the right mix to get the flow just the way I want it. Running 3-Koralia 1050s does a pretty good job, but that's a lot of ugly plastic in my tank. So, I tried 1-1050 on one side and 1-2250 on the other, and the 2250 blows my sand around. I'm slowly replacing my sugar sand with something more coarse, but the whole experience just made me want to go in a completely different direction with the circulation pumps.

With that in mind, I picked up a used MP10wES to replace the 1050. My next move was to buy a MP40, or possibly XF150 (or 130) Gyre, to replace the Koralia 2250. But being cheap like I am, I'm wondering if I really wanna spend that much coin. Which leads me to Jebao...

What Jebao pump would you recommend I buy? I know the basics about them, and that they are controllable (but not fully controllable like the Vortechs.) I've also figured out that the RW Series seems to be "better" than the WP series. But I don't know much more than that. Could really use some advice on this. TIA

I own a wp 25 and I just bought a gyre 130 and honistly done wayst your mony on Jabo go for a gyre

You can control a jebao with an apex but after installing a gyre 150 and seeing the improvement in my sps just by changing the power head I highly recommend buying the gyre. I went from 2 mp40s to 1 150 and a 40 and am thinking of changing put the other 40 for another gyre. The coral seem much happier then they did with the 40s.

Jebao has controllers, I have the wp 25 in my 50 gallon it works great. I know that you can run 2 off of a controller as well.

I had the WP 40 and it has more flow than a MP40 . The newer RW's are nice connected to a JBwave ,which is bluetooth controller .The Gyre hands down has the most flow .Since the tank is a standard 6 ft 125 ,it would be a better choice .

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. However, due to budget constraints I think I'm zeroing in on either a Jebao RW-8 or RW-15. Any experiences with either of those?

I am happy with my RW-8's...I control them with my apex quite nicely.
