So, I have what amounts to a 125 gal tall (60x19x24). I mostly keep softies/LPS (but the tank is more fish focused.) I've been using Koralias for awhile now, but have never found the right mix to get the flow just the way I want it. Running 3-Koralia 1050s does a pretty good job, but that's a lot of ugly plastic in my tank. So, I tried 1-1050 on one side and 1-2250 on the other, and the 2250 blows my sand around. I'm slowly replacing my sugar sand with something more coarse, but the whole experience just made me want to go in a completely different direction with the circulation pumps.
With that in mind, I picked up a used MP10wES to replace the 1050. My next move was to buy a MP40, or possibly XF150 (or 130) Gyre, to replace the Koralia 2250. But being cheap like I am, I'm wondering if I really wanna spend that much coin. Which leads me to Jebao...
What Jebao pump would you recommend I buy? I know the basics about them, and that they are controllable (but not fully controllable like the Vortechs.) I've also figured out that the RW Series seems to be "better" than the WP series. But I don't know much more than that. Could really use some advice on this. TIA
