So I have another odd thing happen to my tank, there is odd tracks on my glass in the dusting of algae, it comes off if I use my Magfloat but has come back in a couple days. These are very hard to get on camera so sorry for the bad image. I have 3 Turbo Snails and 1 Fire Shrimp in the tank with various Hermits. I had to take all the kids out of the pool and go fallow (day 3 of 76) due to a new fish that was found with Ich and I did not catch it during quarantine. I see white spots on the glass in various places that seem to be moving which I cannot get a pic of. I think the white spots on the glass are pods as I do not think Ich can be seen with the naked eye. The white spots seem to move and are not all the same size. I have seen some snail eggs on glass but I have only seen white and this does not seem to have anything raised on it like the eggs I have seen.

Yep, pods often look like white spots on the glass that jump around. You normally see a higher concentration on the glass closer to the sand bed. No, you will never see ich floating around in the tank.

While ich is looking for a host, it is way too small to see. You'll only notice once it has burrowed on a fish and shows through the white spots.

My guess is the squiggly line is a snail trail. One that did a great job planning his route, lol!

Lol, a very talented snail!! Definitely more coordinated than I am.

I agree... Looks like a snail trail to me. Once my glass starts to get a little bit of build up on it I will see thousands of those little pods.

Well finally something is starting to go right. Lol
