Like the term stick head, I have been about half year into color stick, really addicted, now I am pretty much done with stocking. I will be sitting tight and watch them to grow and developer color. Bought way too many sticks in past months, my display is basically a 75G frag tank, will be de-stocking slowly, take out some and leave space for the ones doing well in the tank.

Here are some pics:

Better to be a stick head then a crack head I suppose.

That's what we all say until we see that next beautiful acro that we must HAVE!!!!

Beautiful pictures!!! Let's see an FTS if you have one! :)

LOL and thanks!
Very agreed, once you are really addicted, you become greedy. The other day I was begging a local reefer to frag his strawberry shortcake even I already have pink lemonade and shade of fall which are kind of similar to SH.
My FTS is ugly as it can be, with too many small frags and lot of coralline algae on glass wall, another thing is that I have yet to figure out how to shot a sharp and color-correct FTS.

Cool, how is your color sticks treating you. You are welcome to see the tank in person, we can work out a date.
My setup is very simply -
Regular 75G external overflow with 20L sump in stand
Light: being running Aquanitics TX5 48" fixture with 3 blue+ 1 blue special 1 Fiji Purple, happy with color and growth. Recently switched to 2X 250W radium for a month or so, want to see which one is for me and determine the light for next tank upgrade.
Flow: Tunnze return pump about 400GPH to tank, 2X MP40W
Supplement: ESV 2 parts via RBS dosing pumps
Nutrient import: 2 times daily fish feeding of flakes and frozen PE mysis, night feeding reef nutrition phyto and oyster every other day
Nutrient export: iTech 200 cone with tunnze pump, with help of few drops of MB7 and small dose Vodka daily
Controller: Apex lit and ABJ ATO
Temp control: 2 250W heater and 1/5 ABJ chiller
Active Carbon in bags, 10% WC every other weeks
Parameter: 1.025 - 1.026, CA 420, ALK 8, MG 1400, NO3 5, PO4 undetectable by Elos (will get the Hanna checker soon, yeah)

Thank you Sonny for your blessing! I studied a lot from your thread regarding vodka and MB7 method, it works for me even though I can not bring level down to 0 due to cayno, but certainly I witness the improvement of water clarity and I truly believe it helps the nutrient export, very cost effective as well.

My next tank will be a 48" X 30" (D) X 20" (H) rimless starfire, from Miracle in Glass as well, I will do mimic rocks and keep glass clean of coralline. All my existing equipments are up to that tank except lighting I am debating between 10 lamp ATI PM or G-man Spectra 2X 250, 4X 54W T5. I am dreaming everyday......

An update: after few month of running Radium I finally switched back to T5's, to me 1/3 corals color better under MH, 1/3 color better under T5, 1/3 same. T5 is cool MH is hot, MH use about 2 times energy including chillers and heaters (hate to still run heaters in summer just to limit the temp hikes). I guess I am T5 man, I can live without shimmers.

Some pics since I switched back to T5's

Anyone know is this a red coral wrasse or fairy wrasse? My concern it is getting little aggressive and picking on my anthias and cardinals, (but not too bad though anthias is still out and eating)

Man, it is my dream to have a tank like yours! My FTS does look ugly, one is I have not yet figure out how to shoot a good one, 2nd is tank does not look good with lot of coraline algae on glass, rows of frags on rocks, without many colony.
