Hello all,

I am new to the hobbie and looking for advice. I have decided to go with the SC 150 gallon tank. I will either build the stand or buy a 80/20 stand from framing tech. I plan on having around 100 pounds of rock and I will also run a sump brick/plates. I have been gifted a 40 gallon breeder that I plan on using for the sump. I will build my own baffles out of glass. I want to run the bubble-magus large filter roller. So now the advice how to size the skimmer? Also I plan on running a algae turf scrubber. Any advice as to what one to use? I am planning on having a heavy fish population.

Thank You

If planning to go heavy with fish, then it might be best to get a skimmer recommended for around 250-300g. The Tunze 9410 would work well... easy to use a well.
