Another Newbie......

My doctor's office has a reef aquarium. Recently I spent more time seeing him than I wanted but made sure I sat next to the aquarium and couldn't take my eyes off it. That was five months ago. And since then I've read forums, visited local shops, talked to people at those shops, watched alot of YouTube. But haven't pulled the trigger. No, I don't have an extra set of helping hands at home. I do leave occasionally to go out of town. I am not the ideal candidate to handle this responsibility. But it still fascinates me. Maybe I'll pull the trigger.....maybe. But not now. Still, I do enjoy reading this outstanding forum.

There's a lot of things to consider for sure, but this is a great site to learn about the hobby and read about first-hand accounts and experiences from other hobbyists!

Patience patience and more patience will get you ahead in this Hobby we've all made the mistake of jumping into something too early or too fast and we paid the price for it. Also as others have suggested do your research read as much as you can ask as many questions as you like there are a lot of really kind people here who want to help you succeed and you can learn from our successes and failures.
