Welcome, salt is "way harder" only in the beginning as it is different. There are more variables and it can be less forgiving depending on what species you chose compared to "conventional" fresh water tanks. Certainly there are fresh water species that are just as if not more challenging than salt water.

Welcome to R2R. Good luck with your build. As a fellow newbie would suggest looking in the various forums here for helpful information. Also go to the Bulk Reef Supply web site. They have some terrific videos to learn from as well.
