Hi all - looking for an ID please!!

This is all over the glass and sand but not really on the rocks, its SUPER FINE textured.

its been coming on strong for about 3-4 weeks

CUC doenst touch it that ive noticed, including turbo sanils, emerald crab.

Powder brown tang doenst touch it

I have chaeto in the sump and this still grows like grazy

thoughts?

yummy green hair algae! With a proper cuc and manual removal it usually will go away on its own, pending nutrients are super high. How old is the tank? A few months?

Looks like GHA -Green Hair Algae

You can cut back a lot of it or pluck it. Assorted Hermits, Blue Legs, Florida Ceriths, Chitons, Turbograzers, Sea Hares, Conchs, Emerald Crabs, Urchins and a few others will eat and either eliminate or keep it maintained.
