Another Purple Hornets scammer!

I was directed to this auction from an eBay member. This seller posted in his auction that I confirmed that what he is selling are true Purple Hornet, and I did not! He even posts my name (Reef Pets) in his auction. I have sent him a message stating to have my name removed because I did not confirm no such thing.....

What a douch. Those don't even look like PH's. Probably some AOI morph. The skirts are obviously not solid yellow, just a tinge of yellow/green.

Good. The words I sent were not all that nice. But, I wanted to give the person a chance to correct it. Good to see that they decided to do the right thing.

I agree. Because it would have caused a headache on my end. The buyer would have contacted me right away and stated that I confirmed this or that. The seller did contact me after ending the auction. From what he says (which may or may not be true) it sounds like he may have gotten scammed. But, that is still not excuse to copy the words directly from my auctions. For this reason, I dont believe much of what he has to say.

Do these people not think that we watch these auctions? Do they not believe that a person would contact us to question validity? And am I just dumb here or what. Is he really trying to sell them for $1200?

I do think that people believe that we dont watch auctions. There is a lot of coral on eBay but not enough to where we are not able to keep up. He ended that auction but he is going to post it again without my name or my wording.....

The last auction for real Purple Hornets ended at $270+shipping I believe. The seller started out at $0.99 with no reserve and thats what they bid up to.

I did a search on the email name and user name here and found nothing. I like to make sure or at least try to make sure they are not R2R members.

i know this guy from another forum. i dont think he's a bad guy or anything. my understanding was that the guy he bought them from had them confirmed by reef pets as purple hornets. he didnt actually do it himself. i'm not trying to defend him, b/c i didnt see what he wrote on his ebay page. i just want everyone to know that this isnt a big time scammer or anything. he probably just used poor judgement in his wording.
