So I have had two clowns and a Valentini Puffer in my QT since March 27th. I have treated with Prazipro twice. They show no signs of any disease. My DT is currently on day 40 of being fishless (long story). Do you think it is necessary to treat my QT with copper?

I am getting three other fish from Humblefish in a few months - so I know they will be good to go.

Thanks!

Did you have a disease outbreak that youre on a fallow period? Did these fish come from the display that is now going fishless or are they new?

They are new fish. I did not have an outbreak - chemicals in the tank (accident, obviously).

I would treat them prophylactically without a doubt in copper to cover velvet/ich. I'd also add metroplex to cover brooklynella and uronema just to be safe. Humblefish's fish will be clean, but after treatment they will also be more susceptible to parasites due to their treatments. IMO there's no point in buying fully quarantined fish to put in to anything other than a parasite-free environment. Just my .02.
