Hi, all!

I’m in the process of setting up a Reefer 350 and figured I would share my progress!I’ve only had nano tanks in the past with my current one being a 12g. I decided to make the big jump and here we are!

Red Sea Reefer 350 hard plumbed
Controller: GHL Profilux
Lighting: 3x Hydra 32HD
Flow: 2x MP10wqd, soon to include a gyre
Filtration: Clarisea 5000
Return pump: Varios-8
Skimmer: Bubble Magus Curve 7

The manifold will have three outputs. I will use one right away for a Pentair 18w UV Sterilizer. The other two will remain open for a possible reactor and algae scrubber.

Onto some pics!

Pics get attention :D
I’ve slowly been working on this and ignoring this build thread. I’ve made big progress. I’m just about done with the plumbing, just waiting on a GHL flow sensor. Please give me any feedback on the plumbing as it is my first time doing anything like this.
I’m pretty happy with the media side of the cabinet. It’s going to be a challenge fitting all the cables in the back, but I’ll figure something out. I have a total of six plugs controlled by the Profilux, eight with individual switches, and another six on a strip behind the shelves.
Aquascape is done. Back film removed. Top next cover done.
Things left to do...plumb the media reactor once I get the 1/2” pipe delivered. A lot of cable management once it’s all set up.

Man, that's a nice setup!! Following!!
Thanks! It’s so hard having to wait for items to be delivered ;Dead
Next step is hard plumbing the flow sensor and the reactor. I have a couple of unions I still want to add and I’m playing around with the emergency drain placement. I’m trying to leave room for a KH Director if I decide to get one. Stay tuned!!

Anymore updates?? I’m currently stuck with my tank right now. Your set up is amazing btw!! I plumbed a return with a mani. Got my uv and 2 aquamaxx reactors. But now idk if my manifold will work with hows it’s set up. Thinking about redoing it after seeing yours

Only new thing is I’ve plumbed the reactor and purchased a new protein skimmer. I decided to sell the Curve 7 and get a Reef Octopus 150S so it could fit in the skimmer compartment with the divider in so I could have a fuge if I decided to. I’m still waiting on the flow sensor. Should be delivered on Monday. Then I can start to glue all the pipe! It’s such a slow process

What kind of flow sensor are you getting? And I was going to ask if the divider still fit but I guess it didn’t lol. With how your sterilizer is set up would it be hard to do maintenance on when needed?

I ordered the GHL 9000L/h flow sensor. They’ve been on back order so I’ve been waiting for nearly a month for it.

I’ve walked through maintenance tons of times and it seems like it should be fine! I’ve added a union high on the main drain to remove that to give me more room to remove the sterilizer. I would need to remove the skimmer, and reactor to remove the sterilizer, but that’ll hopefully only be once a year.

The fittings are 45 degrees but it’s a slip x spigot fitting. It helps to save some space

Did you buy all your plumbing parts from brs??

I don’t have any of the fancy controllers but I figure post some pictures that I took today for entertainment lol. I am thinking swapping out my Jebao pumps on the side and upgrade with a pair of Nero 5s on the back to achieve a cleaner look

What kind of lights are you using? And how are you mounting? Trying to figure out how far I should space my A360s from each other for a good spread
I currently have two AI 32HDs over a 12g long that I will be carrying over to the Reefer as well a third one I still have to buy. Or I’m thinking about doing the two 32s and an aquatic life T5 fixture. Still not sure. I’m going to mount with the aquatic life wall mount kit.
