A few bad shots in horrible lighting, but here are the first fish inhabitants of the new reef tank. Meet my new wrasses, courtesy of Aqua Dreams in Feeding Hills. (Pictures 2 + 3 are the same fish and pictures 4 + 5 are the same fish)

New mesh screen top for the reef tank courtesy of TCR in Stratford. Simple, discreet and much more attractive than the Home Depot egg crate that used to keep the jumpers from jumping. Thanks again, TRC!

Looking good, things are really starting to come together. I see you have some corals but it is hard to tell which ones from the pics. Did you pick up any from your wish list that you had posted on another thread?

Nice tank I can help with pics if you ever want. I live in Hartford but frequent Bloomfield enough ask Alex lol

Thanks. some of the coral was transferred from the old tank but a few new pieces as well. I did end up with a nice frag of jack-o-lantern leptoseris from my list that I picked up from Exotic Reef and Coral.

Thanks, man. I'll take you up on that when the tank is a bit further along, for sure. You take phenomenal pictures.

New reef addition, thanks to Headie Corals in North Haven. Black Fin Fairy Wrasse is a whale compared to the size of the other inhabitants of my reef, but such a friendly specimen... and beautiful too!

Very nice addition!

Hey,

Nice tank. I am a fan of the ELOS. I am curious about the Kessil how do you like them so far, what did you hang them from?

Thanks. I am very happy with the Kessils so far. The only negative for me is that a true dawn-to-dusk affect cannot be achieved since 5% is the first available setting. But it's a powerful light in such a compact form. I hung the lights using a hanging kit for another LED fixture. I'm still working to figure out how to conceal the wires discreetly and so it's not ugly, lol. I'll post pictures as soon as I figure that out.
