Another Review of Fraggle Reef

I posted a thread with some Purple Death to trade and Miguel said he was interested. We worked out a deal for a frag of Shiznits and a head of Blastomussa. With my work schedule, I was home last week for the delivery, but Miguel had to unexpectedly go out of town. He still sent them to me, even though I have yet to ship his (I'm waiting for him to let me know when he's back). I already thought that was great...then I got the shipment.

Not only did I get what we agreed on, but he sent me a zoo freebie and a montipora (I think Rainbow, he knew I wanted one). Who does that? A freebie of Rainbow? I will not hesitate to do business with Miguel again, fast responses and he does what he promises

BTW...I also had an order with Miguel about a year ago, and one of them arrived a little worse for wear from the shipping (there was a pistol shrimp hitchhiker in the coral that didn't make it and I think it fouled the water). I sent him a pic and he sent me an immediate credit. Great guy

Mine aren't either, but its only been a few days It looked like a few were starting to open, now they're closed tight. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

As long as you keep yours crossed for me! hehe.. i'm on day 2 with my furan2 dip, but with an exception of one polyp, they seem to be goners. Hoping for a miracle ... =] i tried to win that other auction for the shiznits just in case... but some dude raised the price to $100 last second :O

Not to burst your bubble, but that's what my shiznits looked like on day 1 I really hope yours pull through. I too have one polyp that I'm really hoping pulls through, the rest are gonners. I'm very happy with the other frags though...I'm wondering if the shiznits are maybe poor shippers.

Miguel says they are extremely poor shippers and they looked like crap just from driving them to his warehouse. His mother colony is holding on. FYI - if they do come down with something, try to do furan2 on only one group and leave the other group alone. Furan2 ended up just worsening my frag, all dissolving away. I take it that they dont handle stress too well.

i'm beginning to think that the mother colony was fragged too early. i've experienced similiar symptoms when i attempted to frag a wild colony without letting them acclimate fully for few weeks. no matter how healthy they looked prior to the fragging, post fragging, they all just melted away. including the mother colony.
