/No, I don't think that's right. Shape of the shell is similar but colors are wrong and the snail I'm seeing in my tank doesn't have the extra ridges going the length of the shell.
I didn't catch him but next time I see him I'll grab him and take some better photos of the shell.

It's a cool little snail, and appears to be feeding on algae / biofilm, but not sure it's one I've seen...

Cute but possible a type of welk?. Looks harmless for now, most likely carnivorousGood or bad? Only time I see one, it's on the front glass.

Even though it appears to be feeding on algae? And this snail doesn't have the feeler appendage I usually see on welks. Are there ones without that?

Oh Nice! Sorry about that, just passed by what you had said. Just keep an eye on the little guy, ive ran into a few of these spiral shelled snails. Welks can cause some issues eventually but if hes eating algae- hes harmless. They never caused any issues for me so I just keep them.

Could be! Seems to me that the shell on mine is more smooth but it's really hard to tell with these photos and video. When I see this kind of snail again I'm going to get it out of the tank and take some top downs of the shell. I've seen it in a couple of my tanks.
